For Active Rain Bloggers – Localism Post Idea

By JC Kiadii, Internet Marketing for Mortgage Professionals

In my daily search for blog post and web content ideas for my clients, I came across a news item that may provide good fodder for a localism post.

For the past 28 years, the Department of Education has presented the “Blue Ribbon School” award to recognize high performing public and private schools. In highlighting these schools, the DOE seeks to share information about best school leadership and teaching practices.

Information about the award, as well as the list of schools, can be found here. The awards will be presented November 15 and 16 in Washington DC.

Here’s where the localism post idea comes in. Take a look at the list of schools. If one is in your target area, write a localism post about the school and the Blue Ribbon award.  People want to buy homes in quality school districts, so a post about an award winning school should attract traffic for eons to come.

Happy Blogging!!
